Use coffee to color easter eggs

Coffee Grounds
Easter egg coloring kits usually come in the same colors. If you had brown, it would open up possibilities of what you could make. Here's an easy way to add more variety to your project.

1) Place a small scoop of coffee grounds in the center of a coffee filter.
2) Pull the sides of the filter up, creating a pouch of coffee.
3) Tie your coffee pouch with a twist tie or rubber band.
4) Fill a bowl with hot water.
5) Place pouch in the water and let sit until the water is as dark as you'd like it.
6) Use your new dye to color your eggs.

Tip: Coffee dye can also be used to color paper- handmade paper works best.
