If you have a flat tire on your bicycle (a punctured inner tube), instead of throwing the inner tube out you may use it with your new inner tube.
1) After you remove the punctured inner tube to replace it with a new inner tube, cut the valve stem off the old one and trim along the bead of the tube.
2) Wrap the old tube around the new tube. This will make the new tube more durable and resistant to puncture.
