Make Clay from Flour, Salt, and Water

Combine 1/4 cup salt, 1 cup flour, 1/4 cup water and knead well. Add food coloring if desired. Children can participate in creating their own play dough and then using the dough to create shapes, critters, anything they can dream up. Use pasta shapes as decoration. Left out in the air, the dough will harden. In an air tight container, it will remain soft.
